Well that's just what we did...
Gathering together 12 amazing young women, from the Blue Mountains, who were willing to be honest, supportive and creative in their pursuit of promoting safer alcohol use to peers and adults alike.

What about low-risk drinking, what's that?
National guidelines have been developed to help people make safer decisions about alcohol use, particularly around 'low-risk' drinking, which varies for men and women.

It's also best to have 1 or 2 alcohol-free days per week.
Tips on stayin’ safe with grog behaviour:
- Don’t take drinks from strangers
- Never push alcoholic drinks onto people
- Open drinks or pour them yourself
- Even better, bring your own drinks
- Have non-alcoholic drinks available as an option
- Make sure you have plenty of food around
- Have a non-alcoholic drink after having an alcoholic drink (to allow extra time between alcoholic drinks)
- Long before the party end, begin serving coffee and/or supper
- If a guest/friend has 'over celebrated' arrange to have that person ride home with someone they know, or offer to put them up for the night
- Don’t play drinking games
- Count how many drinks you've had
(if you can't remember, you've probably already had too much!) - Go for a walk and get some fresh air
- Steady the pace
- Don’t mix spirits

- Black out/faint
- Finding ugly people attractive
- Forget/don't care about boyfriend or girlfriend
- Lose standards/morals
- Mistake things for something else
- React slowly
- Talking jibberish
- Throwing up
- Can't see straight
- Slurred speech
- Can't walk straight at all
- Can't feel your face
