Projects Archive:
This is a listing of the projects that WESDARC has undertaken in the past.
- Hopscotch Project:
Hopscotch is a partnership between WESDARC, SWAHS and Kingswood Public School. The Project is centred within a resilience model and aims to increase the capacity of teachers and the broader school community, to support the physical, emotional and educational of those school children, (including but not exclusively) who live in homes where their well being is impacted by issues resulting from parental alcohol and other drug misuse.
- Drug and Alcohol Clip Art Competition:
Western Sydney Drug & Alcohol Resource Centre Inc. (WESDARC) is creating a resource of drug and alcohol clip art. We’re looking for images created by local young people to add to the resource, which will go on to be used by community and youth workers.
- CanStop:
The content and resources for the CanStop Manual were developed by former cannabis users, therefore CanStop is designed to deal with the real issues cannabis users face, because those who have gone through the cessation process have first-hand knowledge of how to give up, and have offered their practical strategies for getting through withdrawal and maintaining abstinence. - Young Women & Alcohol (Throne):
A peer support project providing information on the safer use of alcohol, created by young women.
